Lex Watt

Lex Watt studied ND Fine Art at New College Nottingham and then went on to the BA (Hons) Jewellery and Silversmithing course at the Birmingham school of Jewellery, graduating in 2010. She started up as Zalisander in November 2011 with the help of the Prince’s Trust Young Enterprise scheme. She currently works from a little studio near the city centre of Nottingham and is never happier than when creating something new and wonderful.

The name Zalisander comes from when Lex was in nursery school, when a little friend couldn’t say her full name, Alexandra and instead called her Zalisander.
